A stunning Figured Maple Recipe Box made with very outstanding grain figure. This wood easily gives a 3D visual effect as light reflects off the tiger striped Maple wood grain patterns. A box of this style and quality will be the center point of conversation for many years to come and will certainly be a box that will be passed on for generations.
Finished with a darker Chestnut stain to emphasize the figured patterns, the box is then top coated with acrylic to withstand everyday use. These recipe boxes are created as a solid box, and then the box is sawn to create the lid to allow the grain patterns flow through from lid to base.

Overall outside dimensions are approximately 14 inches long, 5 1/2 inches high, and nearly 5 inches front to back, giving 2 spaces inside for cards that are each over 4 inches front to back.
