This recipe box is a real showpiece for your kitchen. It has been constructed of specially selected, highly figured solid Maple wood. The figured wood grain is accented by using a medium shade of stain followed by several clear finish coats and ending with a hand rubbed paste wax topcoat. The box is built as a solid box, and then the hinged lid is created by re-sawing so that the wood grain matches from the lid to the base. This is an extremely high quality box that you can fill with those favorite family recipes.

Overall box size is approximately 5 1/2" tall, over 7" long, and approximately 5" front to back. The inside of the box is tall enough to hold index guides for separating recipes into categories.
